Caleb Voorhees is one of our part time Firefighters/EMT personnel who joined the team in January of 2023.  Caleb's experience of more than 20 years is a bonus for DFPD.  His previous experience comes from the Bureau of Land Management as a wildland firefighter and volunteering with Palisade in the early 2000’s.  Additionally, he has been with our neighboring agency, Grand Valley Fire Protection District since 2007.  Outside of being a first responder, he enjoys the the great outdoors, hunting, fishing, and camping with his family.
